Electric appliances need constant care and maintenance. Even a minor act of carelessness can turn into a disaster. So following precautions should be kept in mind while dealing with an electric smoker:
- First, unbox your smoker and clean it from inside out by wiping out the surface with a clean piece of cloth.
- Now place the liquid plate at the base of the vessel. This plate stores all the dripping cooking liquid from the cooking food in the smoker.
- There is a separate chamber for chip woods and smoking liquid at the side of the smoker. Remove these chambers and stuff them with wood chips and liquid.
- After placing the chip wood and liquid box in place, you can prepare the smoking grills by oiling them lightly.
- Now plug in the device, set the temperature for vessel and close the door. Let the device reach the appropriate temperature.
- Place the food on the oiled grills and carefully place them in the smoker then again seal the door.
- Set the timing for cooking and allow it to cook.
- Once done, carefully open the door of the smoker and enjoy the freshly smoked food.
